Alan has more than 20 years experience in the offshore industry. He acts extensively in establishing and advising upon Jersey trusts for high-net worth individuals and institutional trustees and works with leading law firms on international and estate planning issues.

Alan is a member of the working party which reviewed the Trusts (Jersey) Law, 1984 resulting in the first major amendments since that law came into force. He is also a member of the proposed Foundations Law working party.

Alan is recognised by the Chambers 2008/09 legal directory as "a legend on the island. What he doesn't know isn't worth knowing - if he raises a point you're not sure about, you can just take his word, as you know he will be right."
