Before moving to Jersey, Kate gained considerable experience as a partner in a West Midlands firm dealing with all areas of trusts, wills and tax planning. Kate joined the firm in 2003 and continues to specialise in trusts and will drafting for local and international clients. Kate also writes a regular column covering all aspects of wills and estates for a local publication.

Kate has recently been appointed as Deputy Chair of the Income Support Medical Appeals Tribunal.
