Expertise: Commercial litigation. Edward is an experienced commercial litigator who joined the firm in 2008 from Maples and Calder. Edward has appeared before the High Court in England, the Grand Court in the Cayman Islands and the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (British Virgin Islands) as a solicitor-advocate and attorney-at-law. He began his career at Norton Rose LLP in London as a solicitor-advocate before moving to the Cayman Islands office of Maples and Calder to practice Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands law. Edward has extensive experience of commercial litigation and contentious insolvency, acting for financial institutions, hedge funds, insurance companies (and insureds) and other entitites, both onshore and offshore.
