Peter is a chartered accountant and a former partner of Ernst & Young. He has experience of multi-jurisdictional cases acting for clients moving between jurisdictions and couples with different domiciles and nationalities. He has been involved with employee benefit and corporate finance arrangements and has lectured and/or written about investment products, international trust and probate structures, company law and trust accounts and litigation. He has been involved as a director or partner in externally owned groups active in areas including the leisure, film, property, software and jewellery industries. He has significant experience of English LimitedLiability Partnerships and is company secretary of two publicly listed companies.

Peter was appointed a Jersey Law Commissioner in 2005, and is the only non lawyer on the Jersey Law Commission. He is also a consultant toBedell Group - advising on practice development opportunities involving both the legal and trust businesses.
