Expertise: Employment. Vicky was called to the English Bar in 1996. She was sworn in as a Jersey advocate in 2008. She successfully represented the employer in the Royal Court appeal case of CI Fire & Security Limited v Browning. Vicky has extensive experience in all areas of Jersey employment law, contentious and non-contentious. These include advice on cross-jurisdictional employment for high net worth individuals, management of performance and misconduct issues in finance institutions, preparation of employment documentation and compromise agreements for senior personnel of international banks and trust companies, and representation in the Jersey Employment Tribunal. She also provides advice on setting up new Jersey offices to international funds and employment advice on M&As. She has considerable training experience, including recent seminars for the Chamber of Commerce and Jersey Business School. Vicky has been acknowledged in the current Chambers legal directory and is winning plaudits for her "availability, response times and hard work." Whilst in the UK Vicky was Vice-Chair of the UK Association of Woman Barristers and a committee member of the Employed Barristers Committee.
