#IWD2022 #BreakTheBias | Cayman Islands

On International Women's Day 2022 we celebrate our people for helping 'break the bias' and champion diversity, equity and inclusion. Meet Jonathan, an Associate from our Cayman Islands office, to find out what 'breaking the bias' means to him and how he commits to forge positive change towards gender equality.

What does 'break the bias' mean to you and what do you hope this campaign will achieve?

As the father of a three year-old daughter, International Women's Day means a lot to me. It is an opportunity to celebrate the progress that has been made in gender equality in recent years and also to reflect on how much further work is necessary to balance the scales. For me, 'break the bias' means being an advocate for gender equality on daily basis to ensure that my daughter grows up in a world where she can expect and attain opportunities based on merit.

What will you personally do to help 'break the bias'?

I'll continue to celebrate the incredible women in my own life and those incredible women who, on a daily basis, are forging positive change towards gender equality.
