Bedell Cristin has acted for Joint Liquidators in the winding up of three Jersey companies ordered under Article 155 of the Companies (Jersey) Law 1991.
Rob Gardner and Paul Lewis both appeared for the Joint Liquidators before the Royal Court in the winding up proceedings.
The judgments delivered in these proceedings have now been made public following an earlier privacy ruling and touch on several interesting aspects of court winding up on just and equitable grounds.
The winding up proceedings are particularly notable as they involve the successful sale of one of the most valuable pieces of Jersey commercial real estate ever to take place. Guy Le Sueur acted for the Joint Liquidators in the property sale.
