Bedell Cristin was appointed by The Channel Islands Securities Exchange Limited ('The CISE') to act as key advisers in connection with its listing on its own exchange. The transaction saw Bedell Cristin provide legal advice and also act as listing sponsor using teams in both Guernsey and Jersey. Bedell Cristin's Guernsey office, led by Richard Sharp, acted as legal advisers to The CISE on the transaction. Bedell Channel Islands Limited also acted as listing sponsor in relation to the admission with a team led by Alasdair Hunter and assisted by Louise Ridgway and will provide ongoing sponsor services to The CISE.
The listing was implemented by an introduction of ordinary shares under Chapter 6 of the Exchange's Listing Rules. In undertaking the listing, The CISE is demonstrating to shareholders and any future investor that it is willing to follow the Exchange’s Listing Rules and adhere to its own required standards of transparency and governance.
