Bedell Cristin has bolstered its Guernsey team through the appointment of Richard Harrington as Associate in the Litigation team and Jennifer Mills as Legal Assistant in Financial Services.

Richard comes to the firm as an experienced litigator, having regularly advised high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and their representatives on disputes arising from trusts, partnerships and insolvency proceedings. He also has particular expertise in advising on matters involving allegations of fraud and has acted for clients who are either obtaining freezing orders or are subject to them.

Having trained and practised in London prior to moving to Guernsey, Richard is a Solicitor and Barrister in England & Wales and is a member of the Guernsey International Legal Association (GILA).

Jennifer comes to the firm early in her career, having completed her Graduate Diploma in Law in 2015. She has gained valuable experience at two other law firms in Guernsey, Mourant and Ferbrache and Farrell LLP.

Kate Ovenden, Managing Partner, Bedell Cristin Guernsey, commented on the appointments:

“We are delighted to welcome Richard and Jennifer as part of the continued investment in and expansion of our Guernsey team. Richard brings with him considerable expertise, which will complement the existing skills within our Litigation team, and Jennifer's experience will further add to the efficiency and responsiveness of our Financial Services practice.”
