Bedell Cristin has longstanding relationships in the Middle East and has advised clients in the region for many years across BVI, Cayman Islands, Guernsey and Jersey law. Our Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) office reflects the importance of the region to our clients and to our practice, and ensures we are better placed to work alongside clients and intermediaries on the ground. 

Our Abu Dhabi office is our regional hub for the Middle East, Africa and India. It strengthens our ability to support clients with interests across these markets, where we continue to see increasing activity and complexity, particularly in relation to cross-border private client and investment structures, governance, and disputes. 

Our presence in the region is led by Faizal Bhana, Managing Director and Head of Middle East, Africa and India. Faizal has spent many years working across these regions, advising ultra-high-net-worth families, family offices and institutional clients on complex cross-border structures and investments. He brings a detailed understanding of the legal, regulatory and cultural landscape, as well as established relationships across the Middle East, Africa and India, and has a deep network in the regions having spent seven years as Director – Middle East, Africa and India for Jersey Finance. Faizal is a qualified lawyer who also practised in the region with a City of London law firm.
