Bruce Scott and Tom Davies of Bedell Cristin's London office advised a joint venture vehicle established by Cain Hoy Enterprises, LLC, Galliard Homes and MG Properties (the real estate investment and development arm of McCourt Global) as to all Jersey law matters concerning the establishment of a complex property holding structure for a new mixed-use development in London's Shoreditch and to all related financing arrangements for that development project. The deal value was in the region of £750 million.
The project, known as The Stage, incorporates the remains of Shakespeare’s 16th century Curtain Theatre, where Romeo and Juliet was first performed.
