Marianne Russell

Marianne Russell is Head of Employment at Bedell Cristin, with a practice spanning contentious and non-contentious employment law matters under Jersey and Guernsey law.

Marianne has experience of acting as a lawyer in private practice (both offshore and onshore), and in working as a senior HR professional within a regulated financial services business, where she led a team and reported to the board of directors on HR issues.

She specialises in advising employers on strategy, employment law disputes, M&A integration and policies and procedures.

Marianne practised onshore in the UK before moving to Jersey in 2017. She was formerly a group partner in another offshore firm.

Marianne has represented clients in employment and discrimination tribunal proceedings claims relating to unfair dismissal and discrimination in the UK and Channel Islands and, as an accredited mediator, she can assist with alternative approaches to conflict resolution.
