Daniel advises HNW and UHNW individuals and families with their acquisition of residency and citizenship, and on relocating businesses and family offices to the Cayman Islands.
Daniel is ranked as a 'Next Generation Partner' by Legal 500 Caribbean 2025 and advises his clients on the full range of immigration, residency and estate planning matters. He prides himself on building long term relationships with his clients and has a proven track record of effectively servicing their every legal need, both in advance of their arrival and for many years to come following their establishment in the Cayman Islands.
He advises on immigration journeys for entire families and has considerable experience of successfully handling every type of immigration matter including applications for: Extended and Permanent Residence for Persons of Independent Means; Permanent Residency (Points System); Naturalisation; British Registration; Cayman Islands and British Citizenship; The Right to be Caymanian (Cayman Status); Work Permits/Rights to Work; and all related appeals.
In addition to his core immigration and residency practice, Daniel is a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and a full member of STEP. Daniel advises individuals, families and institutions in Cayman on a full-service concierge basis that spans wills, probate and administration, licensing, family and employment.
Daniel trained as a solicitor at Lawrence Graham LLP in London. Prior to relocating to the Cayman Islands in 2012, Daniel worked as an immigration lawyer at the Treasury Solicitor's Department (UK Government) where he served as the Home Secretary's Lead Lawyer on Pakistan.
He is a Fellow of the Investment Migration Council (IMC) on the basis of his continued contributions to the Cayman Islands Residency-by-Investment programs, has been the Cayman Islands representative on the UGlobal Writer's Council since 2020, and was invited to lead the inaugural Cayman Islands Residency by Investment Summit in 2023.
