Bedell Cristin have advised Oryx Real Estate Partners on Jersey law matters in connection with the acquisition and development of a 9.3 acre commercial site in Greater Manchester, which was the first for its industrial and logistics fund.
The team – which included managing associate Adam Bartels and associate David Lobato Taylor – worked with Oryx and lead counsel Trowers and Hamlins on the transaction, which was a partnership between Oryx and Pembury Real Estate.
Planning applications have already been submitted in respect of the development, which is intended to deliver five new industrial and logistics units targeting EPC A and BREEAM Excellent ratings.
Tom said: "We are delighted to have worked again with our long-standing client Oryx on this development. We continue to see sustained interest in commercial and industrial developments in the regions, and in the use of Jersey structures to support high quality real estate investment."
