Bedell Cristin Counsel Emma Hill called to Guernsey Bar

Bedell Cristin Counsel Emma Hill has been called to the Bar as a Guernsey Advocate.

Emma, who is based in the firm's Guernsey office, has been in private practice since 2011 and advises local and international clients on a wide variety of Guernsey law disputes in the firm's litigation team, with a focus on contentious trusts matters.

She is in her second stint in Guernsey, having spent six years in the jurisdiction earlier in her career before practising in London.

Partner Alasdair Davidson, who heads Bedell Cristin's Guernsey Litigation team, said: "We are delighted for Emma – qualifying as a Guernsey Advocate is a significant career achievement, particularly for a litigator.

Bedell Cristin is marking its 20th anniversary in Guernsey this year – the firm is enjoying a very positive year, having recruited Alexander Hawkins to lead its Guernsey International Private Client team, opened a new office Abu Dhabi, won the Chambers & Partners High Net Work Offshore Firm of the Year award, and promoted Guernsey team members Abi Houghton and Cassie Wade as part of its annual promotions.
