Alasdair is a partner and the head of the Bedell Cristin Litigation and Dispute Resolution teams in BVI and Guernsey.

His career spans over 30 years having practised as a Barrister in England and then as a lawyer in the Caribbean before moving to Guernsey.

He is instructed by law firms and institutional clients based worldwide and has acted for most of the globe's leading fiduciaries, fund providers and banks, and is recognised by both Chambers & Partners and Legal 500.

Alasdair has a genuine depth of experience having handled a great variety of contentious and non-contentious matters covering most corporate, insolvency and fiduciary fields including appearing before a wide variety of courts and tribunals worldwide.

He has particular expertise and established track record in conducting complex high value cross-border work both in the BVI and Guernsey.

Alasdair is a Notary Public, and since 2023 has been sitting part-time as a Lt Bailiff of the Royal Court of Guernsey.

He is a member of STEP, the Chancery Bar Association, the Association of Contentious Trusts and Estates Practitioners and INSOL amongst other industry groups.
