Guy Westmacott

Guy specialises in corporate and commercial matters with a focus on M&A, private equity, restructuring and equity capital markets.

He has more than 20 years' experience in offshore, onshore and in-house roles, and is recognised by Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 for his expertise in Jersey corporate matters.

He frequently advises on the regulatory aspects of corporate transactions, including in connection with competition laws and financial services regulation.

Guy also advises international clients on statutory mergers, migrations and other corporate processes under Jersey law.

Guy works with clients and onshore counsel in London, and the US and a range of other jurisdictions, and has deep connections in the UAE in particular, having spent eight years in-house at Mubadala in Abu Dhabi, latterly as senior legal counsel.

Prior to joining Bedell Cristin in 2016, Guy also practised with Eversheds and Vinson & Elkins in London.
