Edward Drummond

Edward is an experienced commercial litigator with a focus on complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes and insolvency matters, and is the Co-Global Managing Partner of the firm.

He is a partner in the Jersey litigation team and co-head of the firm's regulatory team.

Edward has extensive experience of commercial litigation, contentious insolvency and regulatory matters (including investigations), acting for financial institutions, trustees and beneficiaries, insolvency office-holders, hedge funds, insurance companies (and insureds), employers and employees, and other entities, both onshore and offshore.

Edward has appeared before the Courts of Jersey, England, the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands.

Having obtained an MA in Jurisprudence at Oxford University he began his career at Norton Rose in London in 1999, qualifying as a solicitor-advocate, before moving to the Cayman Islands office of Maples and Calder to practise Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands law.

Edward moved to Jersey in 2008 and qualified as a Jersey advocate in 2011.
