Jon Barclay will be speaking on the panel session called, 'It Started with a Truck – PACCAR hauls 3rd party litigation funding'. During the session for offshore practitioners, Jon and his colleagues will provide a simple breakdown of the repercussions of the UK Supreme Court’s judgment in PACCAR [2023], which renders many litigation funding agreements unenforceable. They will also explore the impact of PACCAR on the future of offshore litigation funding – a topic that begs to be fully addressed.
