Tim is one of the most highly ranked Banking & Finance lawyers in Jersey and has 25 years' experience in private practice both onshore and offshore.
He regularly acts for international asset managers and global banking institutions on complex and high value real estate finance matters, as well as fund finance, leveraged finance and corporate law matters.
Tim has a broad client base including longstanding clients and intermediaries in London, US and Singapore.
He is is recognised by Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 for the quality of his advice – he is ranked as an Eminent Practitioner by Chambers and Partners for Jersey Banking & Finance and Corporate / M&A matters, and Legal 500 lists him in the Hall of Fame for Jersey Banking & Finance advice, and also recognises his Corporate and Commercial expertise.
Tim leads Bedell Cristin's global Financial Services Law team, and served as the firm's Global Managing Partner from 2019 to 2025.
He joined the firm in 2003 from City law firm Theodore Goddard, bringing considerable onshore and offshore experience.
